Hello all!

I'm sorry about the silence/lack of update/lack of deviation comments/etc.
I've been really busy for the past.. um, week? Fortnight? I'm not sure how long it was!

What do you think of the new DA layout? I'm still confused!

I've had my hair cut, I look like a psycho-Yuffie. I asked for a trim to get alot of the old dyed hair off, and the lady was a bit scissor-happy.
I was freaking out at first, but I really think I'm rocking it. It's really spikey and POOF because I've been blessed genetically with volumous hair. I think I must of been waiting in the hair queue, rather that the tiny waist queue.
Anywho, I'm suprised I can pull off the edgy look because I'm used to being pretty ordinary.
Everyone is work was cooing and stroking it, so I think I'm a hit!

I finally managed to pull my finger out on the Skaven front. Okay, okay, I only managed to get a unit of Plague Monks and some Rat Ogres together, but still!
I finally got my tickets to Gamesday, and I'm really looking forwards to that in September. Everyone from the Games Workshop is going, so it should be a pretty fun day!

I went to Ju-jitsu last night and they worked me like a dog. It was awesome.
I got through a whole syllabus (which really isn't that hard because it's only white belt )
I have bruises and aching bones (mainly from blocking and front-rolling-into-fighting-stance), and I'm loving it. Maybe that means I need to go to a head-doctor, but I can't help it if I enjoy a good fight. My muscles were on fire and I was dripping with sweat (sorry for the mental image), and I loved it because I forgot how awesome exercise can be! I go to the gym, but treadmilling-cycling-climbing can only remain interesting for so long.
Sensei gave me a hug at the end and told me how everyone is happy to have me back, and he's pleased that I still give 110%. He asked me what I'm doing now and I said ' PhD.' He asked me what in and I said 'Cancer research'. He looked up at me and said, 'I bloody love you.'
Glad to see I'm accepted!

As you all know I'm trying the old 'My body is a temple' thing, which is a nightmare because of my alcohol addiction. (I plan to go into rehab at 27).
My work-mate had her hen-party and I tried my best not to drink, but I was becoming irritable. So I thought to myself 'Sod it, you only live once'. Well, really it was 'Sod off, you're in the way of my gin'. I didn't drink too much, though.
Well I didn't have to. I had one glass of champagne and was drunk. Maybe it was because I haven't drunk for a while. Maybe it was because I didn't eat that day. Either way, my tolerance has gone and I'm back to being a cheap date.

Which suits me just fine as I'm going out on Thursday and I haven't been paid yet!
